Started this group because every list of Canadian Book Publishers I found online read like a brochure, and I wanted to hear from writers who had actually signed on and gone through the process. My own manuscript is almost ready, and I’d like to know what the first few weeks really look like, who answers your emails, and how long edits take. Book Publishing Canada came up when a neighbor who published a memoir said the Toronto team kept her updated at every stage and never made her feel rushed. I haven’t contacted them yet, so I’d love to hear from anyone who has, good or bad.
